Brad and Favi traveled from El Paso, Texas to make another visit to the Oregon Coast, and another stay at the Itty Bitty Inn.

They reserved the Oregon Trail Room for a couple of nights.

And they had high adventure on their minds; to find coastal trails, waterfalls, and sea caves all in ONE outing! That's an easy ask around here, so away they went to hike and climb and walk the trails not many have taken. And they found waterfalls, and tide pools, and sea caves...and then returned to the inn with freshly caught Dungeness crab!

After a warm shower, it was time to uncork a nice bottle of wine and put on a Stan Getz record. As we set the table, the lemon and butter had just finished melting and the crab had just finished steaming.

It’s another day at the Itty Bitty Inn, where we make lifelong friends and celebrate each other’s journeys.

And as we say at the inn, Welcome Home.

Who knows who you might cross wakes with when kayaking Coos Bay!

Dinner time expeditions feature plenty of exhilarating surprises when you're quietly navigating around the banks of the bay.

There were two groups of sea lions feeding. Some were Californias and some were the much bigger Stellar sea lions. They were all pretty interested in me and would come up together to check me out. Here's a video from this encounter with them today!

We encourage guests to use two nearby kayak launches: The California Street Boat Ramp is .5 miles south of the Itty Bitty Inn.

The Ferry Park Boat Ramp is located .6 miles north of the Itty Bitty Inn. Both give incredibly easy access to Coos Bay and the wildlife and boating and sightseeing that our area is renown for.

Need a peppy EV charge when visiting Coos Bay / North Bend?

We've just upgraded the charging speed on both of our Tesla Destination chargers at the Itty Bitty Inn!

EV owners will notice an throughput between 35 and 50 miles-per-hour-charged on each of our charging stations, depending on the electronic battery bank switching on their respective EVs. For example, we've noticed that the Chevy Bolt EV charges at a slightly higher rate than the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Because the Tesla Destination charging stations come fitted for Tesla models, please do not forget to bring the coupling adapter that is unique to your vehicle's charging receptacle.

Our Tesla Destination charging stations are onsite at the Itty Bitty Inn, located at 1504 Sherman Ave (Highway 101), North Bend, Ore. 97459

What an honor to host visiting Starfleet dignitary, Admiral Mickelsen!
We promptly made available our finest Saurian brandy to the good Admiral and his awesome wife.
I’d have offered Romulan ale, but he might have questioned how I was able to get the booze across the Neutral Zone.

So in that case - maybe I should just fess up and say that 7 Devils Brewing's ale and locally pressed cranberry cider were on the lobby taps, and he seemed to enjoy that just as well.

Mountain biking is a favorite autumn pastime on the Oregon Coast.

The Itty Bitty Inn provides safety equipment, mountain bike rentals, trailhead drop-offs and pick-ups, and guided biking tours for all skill sets! The Whiskey Run Mountain Bicycle Trails are located 17 miles south of the Itty Bitty Inn. Are you bringing your own bicycle? That's cool too, and if your bicycle needs it, tune-ups can be had at Moe's Bike Shop two blocks north of us.

The Itty Bitty Inn is famously known for themed hotel rooms, craft beer and cider taps, vintage Atari rentals - and mountain biking adventures!

Be sure to stop by on your way through Coos Bay and North Bend, even if it's just to say hello, while you drive along Highway 101 along the Oregon Coast.

Peace!

Writers from That's Oregon Life visited the Star Trek themed room at the Itty Bitty Inn!

Here is the video they shared on Facebook and Instagram when they stayed in the Star Trek room at our hotel.

On our website, you may know the room as The Star Trek - Enterprise Room, because it's layout is inspired from the bridge of Star Trek's original USS Enterprise (NCC 1701).

Oh and bonus - we love the mention of our vintage, fully functional Atari 2600 rentals!

For more vintage video gaming, be sure to check out Annie's Recycle Video Games, located about a 1/2 mile south of the Itty Bitty Inn.
